trashing my random BLAH.

well just maybe,

it was a casual thursday night where my friends and i were having dinner in our usual fast food place. when dinner was finished, we start blabbering around about our day and usual funny things, when suddenly out of the blue one of my friend said that she doesn’t know what she wants out of her life right now. funny for me, i was asking myself that question quite often, before i come to a conclusion that life is all about living the moment and preparing all the best for what tomorrow can brings. but still, that questions linger. one of my friend replied, that we are entering this quarter life crisis phase, it’s normal to feel like this. a lot of people are experiencing it. I thought about my friend answers, and yes we are dear, we are in this zone of quarter life crisis. this phase however are far more worse than puberty but then for me, maybe just maybe this is the time of your life. you live it right, you get out of it alive, then maybe well maybe you’ll survived all the other crisis which will emerge furthermore.

this feeling of insecurities, the feeling of being alone, the feeling of uncertainty, the feeling of overwhelmed freedom, the feeling of being superior of your own life yet clueless, it is normal. but it doesn’t mean that we can blame all those icky yucky feeling to these so called somewhat crisis. it just mean that we are human, and we are living.

and i would like to quote some nice paragraph from eyeweekly.com :

“Having so much — youth, ability, independence — can feel like the worst possible scenario. What remains, though, is the potential for the years with anxiety and without direction to be reclaimed. Scheer sees real opportunity here. “If you feel you’re in crisis, this is a great opportunity to draft a five-year plan with steady concrete goals to help you get to where you want to be. Anyone can transform their life in just a few years.” Michael Kimmel says “There is life on the other side of this, and it’s actually a pretty good one. Growing up may be hard to do, but in the end, the gains outweigh the losses.” In other words: it might just be time to grow the fuck up.”

and like mgmt lyrics on the youth, In a couple of years Tides have turned from booze to tears” let’s just all grow the fuck up! hurrah.
